A nurturing of soul-life

By The Fire is our offering of in-person meetings

When we meet around the fire, something automatically silences within. Our bodies remember this ancient way of gathering as it speaks to our eternal essence as human beings. Meeting around the fire also makes the everyday mind take a less predominant focus.

As our bodies relax, the fire itself and the more-than-human world around us can more easily enter the conversation. The fire makes us drop down into our bodily senses and through the exalted relaxation in the body, it opens us up to another level of awareness. It is an ancient way of meeting that fosters a nurturing that can be deeply felt.

Fire is the oldest archetype in creation. It is the heat with which we live and it is the burning of passion with which we procreate, it is the light of our intelligence and it is the beholder of our destruction. It is what flickered into existence that ancient day when the universe was born and it is what burst out into the millions of stars and universes we know. It is the cause of all that we haven’t discovered yet or ever will discover. It is the beginning.

21. December 2022 – Winter Solstice

DATE: 15.15 CET/CEST at Tisvilde Beach, Denmark, at the designated bonfire spot down on the beach behind the kiosk.

Costs – This meeting is FREE, it has no monetary cost as it is in service to Earth but please consider bringing some firewood for the bonfire.

This meeting is designed to recognise the Winter Solstice of 2022 and the turning of the light.

The fire will be lit with the intention of thanking the darkness and welcoming the new light year which is now upon us.

It is a wonderful time to take stock of the previous year and notice what we have achieved and what we want to shed and not bring with us into the next light cycle. When this is acknowledged within we can set the intention for the light of the next year to guide us in our journey.

Itinerary:
15.15 – We will meet and get comfortable around the fire, introduction and information.
15.38 – Silent meditation begins with the intention of letting go of the dark and welcoming the light – 15.38 is the time of the setting sun in Tisvildeleje, Denmark on this Solstice.
16.00 – Sharing of intentions for those who would like to.
16.15 – Inner Guided Journey for Solstice (see more on journeying here..)
16.45 – Sharing
17.15 – The official meeting ends but people are welcome to stay around the bonfire.

Wear warm clothes and bring something to sit on (a blanket or pillow) and a thermos of hot beverages if you’d like.
