Leslie Davenport brings the role of psychology into interdisciplinary dialogues that advance creative and effective solutions to climate change. Leslie is a founding member of the Institute for Health & Healing, one of the first and largest hospital-based integrative medicine programs in the United States. Her 25 years of medical experience developing an empowering and collaborative approach to resolving crises has informed her climate psychology model.
She is the author of three books: Healing and Transformation through Self-Guided Imagery, Transformative Imagery: Cultivating the Imagination for Healing, Change, and Growth (Ed.), and Emotional Resiliency in the Era of Climate Change. Her upcoming book, to be released in August 2021 with Magination Press, will provide kids with resiliency tools for navigating a warming world.
Currently, she serves in a Climate Psychology advisory role to Project InsideOut and the CO2 Foundation. She has participated in interdisciplinary climate think tanks hosted by the Post Carbon Institute and Institute for Policy Studies.
Leslie is a licensed psychotherapist practising in California and Washington and is also the creator of the Deep Imagination program at John F Kennedy University, and Associate Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

A sacred space has been opened by forces in the inner worlds in which we through the power of imagination are able to travel and communicate directly with Earth and the inner worlds. Her voice and song will take you deeply into a connection of love, taking you out of domestication and reconnecting you with the original wildness of your nature. Through the inner workings of our nature, an ever deepening of listening and communication emerges. Throughout the journey, we stay connected and anchored in our own body as this is our first meeting place with Earth; your body is Earth!
